Matt Reeves attempts to reboot Batman series but falls flat in a convoluted film which unravels it's own plot by giving up on the villains thus the "hero" serves no purpose. Yet the soundtrack was great. Interesting aspects are Bruce Wayne is semi-based on Kurt Cobain of grunge rock band "Nirvana", and The Riddler is influenced by 1960s american serial killer "The Zodiac".
